In Malaysia, I use a type of flour called Tepung Gandum.(Which is wheat flour)
2-4 pancakes (depends the size of your pan)
Firstly, I
- Get a bowl
- 1 egg in the bowl
- Whisk it with the wheat flour which you can pour at least 1 cup.
- Splashes of milk. But don't pour it too much. We don't want a soggy pancake.
- Put sugar and salt.
- MEDIUM HEAT. or small if you are scared the get the pancake burnt.
- Butter the pan.
- Use a scooping serving spoon
- Scoop 1 scoop.
- Hold the handle and tilt the pan around until it covers the whole pan.
- Once one side of it doesn't stick to the pan, use a spatula(wooden) and flip it and cook the other side.
- You can check the other side once in a while.
- Enjoy! ;)
To make it look pretty and taste sweeter and buttery,
Put a cuboid of butter on the stack of pancakes and pour Maple Syrup or Plain Old Honey. (DONT USE MANUKA HONEY, IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE AND SWEET AND GRAINY)
