ANYWAYS.
As you know, the Word Caramelised sounds cool. Awesome. Haha, anyways to the point, Caramelised means to bring out the sweetness of something.

- Onions, Red Onions are much more sweeter in my opinion (I'm not a Professional Chef, so don't laugh at my obviousness or obliviousness.)
- Slice them. This is my way of slicing them, Learnt it from TV xD
- Peel the onion. Cut the ends of the onion.
- Slice the Onion in half horizontally.
- Make the onion lie down vertically, with the flat side on the cutting board.
- Use your knife and slice vertical lines that does not reach the end. As in, when you slice it thinly, don't slice the knife all the way through the front. Leave some space at the front.
- Turn the onion horizontally, still lying down.
- Just slice the onion.
- For the carrots,
- Peel the skin off
- Cut the Flat head, and the end.
- Slice the carrot not too thickly or thinly.
Pour Olive oil in the pan.
I personally am not a professional chef, so I just put all the ingredients in the pan, not waiting for the pan to get hot. Oh right! Medium heat!
Add more salt and normal amount of pepper.
A pinch of sugar. (To bring more sweetness out)
And as I always say, you know they are ready as you taste your onions. They HAVE to be sweet and soft. not spicy. :)
I'll keep on posting more if you guys like?
-Trying to get a potato recipe.-
