RECIPE 13: Scallops! :D

Photo Huge portion and I think I nearly got sick of the freshness of scallops for once xD

Scallops produce a milky juice, like the mussels, but you can actually taste the 'milk'. So when cooking Scallops, use HIGH heat and cook for 2 minutes each side until they are golden brown.


  1. Butter in the pan.
  2. Mince garlic into the pan.(Or some ginger if you like)
  3. Next, scallops, make sure they are evenly placed, so all sides cook evenly.
  4. Salt them. (Not too much, since Fresh scallops are naturally SWEET and you want to actually taste the sweetness.) 
  5. Squeeze half a lime or lemon juice on them, to decrease the milky taste. 
  6. Slice half a lemon or lime on the plate. 
  7. My plating isn't that good xD Squueze some more lime on top of the cooked scallops that are plated. 
  8. Enjoy!

In Japan, there are some scallops that you can eat raw and it taste devineeeee even though I don't take Sashimi(Raw Food, I think) well. :D
