Recipe: Egg poached in a tomato base

A single portion dish./ Untuk satu orang Sahaja.
I have seen this dish being made everywhere on YouTube, but I would like to have my take on this dish.

The tomato base recipe: / tomato sos
2 Cili padi or as much chilli you want.
10 tomato cherry ( if you live in Malaysia like me, you will know how unsweet our tomatoes are, so we use a secret product...tomato ketchup from the jar)
1-3/2 tbs of tomato sauce like Heinz or Maggi tomato ketchup
1 tbs balsamic vinegar/ cider vinegar
Thyme, basil to your taste.
2 cloves of garlic cincang( minced)
1 red onion yang kecil (small) cincang (minced)
Olive oil

Egg

Steps:
1. Olive oil in the pan.
2. Garlic, onion, chilli and roughly chopped tomato in pan. Keep them moving for 2 minutes at high heat.
3. Add some water, if you add too much don't worry, the water will evaporate. The water is needed to to soften the tomatoes( our tomatoes don't disintegrate easily, unlike the tomatoes from Europe).
4. When the tomatoes look soft enough, put salt, pepper, vinegar and the tomato ketchup. Mix the pan contents. Add the herbs. Let the contents simmer for 4-5 minutes or until you like its viscosity. Add your egg when you like the texture. Cover the pan for 1 minute or even 2, depending how well done you want your egg to be.
5. Enjoy.

Recipe: Pesto Pasta Bake

This is extremely useful for using up days old picked basil leaves lying around in your refrigerator. Making it into pesto and mixing it with pasta, grating a bunch of cheese on top and putting a few more salted basil leaves on top and putting it into the oven-My oh my.

Scientifically, baking it will kill any germs and bacteria on your slowly dying basil leaves.

Recipe for pesto
1 cup of compact basil leaves
3/4 pine nuts
Oil based on your liking of texture. More oil for less viscosity.
Salt
Pepper
1-2 cloves of garlic max.
Parmesan cheese based on your liking
1/4 Pasta water ( we will be baking the pasta and we don't want to dry out the pasta)

Bake at 180 celcius for 15 minutes in a preheated oven and then 200 celcius for 7 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown. Enjoy.

Review on Collagen 3 in 1 lip balms

The product comes with a sweet thank you note, and the first thing that caught my eye was the size. It is very portable. And what a pretty cover!

My aunt actually bought me this from china. Well since I'm not a makeup commiseur, i gladly accepted it.

The three colours are : (translated by myself)
1. Coral
2. Rose
3. Sweet plum

Coral: it is actually more towards the red and flecks of gold shimmer but sadly my phone camera couldn't capture it well. It's a balm, so it glides on smoothly. My lips feel alright after that try. They dont feel incredibly moisturized nor chapped. So i guess the balm did its purpose well.

Rose: This has the most pigment out of the three colours. However, it left my lips a bit grainy-so that's another difference.

Sweet plum: Has the least pigment. Glides on well. As a balm, it leaves the lips shiny, but you can probably get away with it for a more natural look.

I forgot to add, all the balms can be extended by twisting the bottom of the tube(like any other lipstick). So it cant be considered to have more product unlike the NYX jumbo lip pencil
