In a Muslim country like Malaysia, especially in the Ramadan month, the Muslims will fast. It is when they don't eat or drink from 6 am until 7pm.
My method to the non-Muslims is( for juniors and seniors) just before school, drink a big glass of water and eat wheat based food ( I'll give you some ideas later in the bottom). Then, drink water as much as you like throughout the whole day! You can not drink water if you like but I drink and it still works. When you return from school, you might feel hungry, make a sweet smoothie. make sure you don't add fruits with Milk, no dairy is needed in this plan plus it may give you cancer to blend acid and dairy together.
It should keep you up till 6-7 pm where you can eat Moderately. Just before having dinner, drink a glass or two of water and wait for 15-20 minutes. Then you may start eating. Try to keep away from fried and oily food and stick to fibre based food like fruits and vegetables! Try this 'fasting' method for a week and you may see some difference. Well some of my family and friends noticed some difference in me.
Breakfast ideas!!
Yogurt and fruits like peaches. In my house we make our own yogurt with bought lactobacillus bulgaricus( bacteria for yogurt) <I am confirmed a science student!>
Plain wheat oats that is moistened enough, you can add this to your Milo, hot chocolate. 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder and 2 tablespoons of oats.
Banana
Fruit salad for an instant booooost of energy and freshness.
Chunky smoothies are great because without eating the whole day, your digestive muscles won't get used to not breaking and churning the food.
Boiled eggs on whole wheat toast that is lightly buttered with mayo.
Peanut butter on toast!
Ham with bread
Notes:
Try to avoid dry food!
During your afternoon hunger rage, drink chunky smoothie.
Set yourself a promise to try to do this for a week
Don't eat a lot for dinner as it won't make a difference you want. Dinner is supposed to be the lightest out of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The fat in your body distributes.
Good Luck!
